Mermerli Beach sits below the walls of Kaleiçi, looking out over the old Roman harbour. It is one of the few places where you can swim in central Antalya.
Access is down a stairway through the restaurant above, and entry is charged; the fee usually includes a sunbed. The area is small, so capacity fills quickly in summer.
It combines well with a walk through Kaleiçi for a half-day plan. Tucked beneath the walls and the harbour, it offers an unusual view for a city beach.
