Kaputaş Beach
About
Kaputaş Beach lies where a canyon opens to the sea between Kaş and Kalkan, wedged between steep cliffs. Its turquoise water framed by rock walls makes it one of the most photographed beaches in Türkiye.
Access is by a long stairway down from the coastal road. The cove is small, so it fills up around midday in summer; early morning is far quieter.
Underwater freshwater springs can make the sea cooler than expected. Shade is limited, so an umbrella and drinking water are worth carrying down.
