Adrasan
A sheltered two-kilometre bay with calm water, and the departure point for Suluada boat trips.
Patara Beach is one of the longest sandy beaches in Türkiye, running for roughly eighteen kilometres. Together with the dunes behind it and the ancient city of Patara, it is protected as both a natural and archaeological site.
Because it is a nesting ground for loggerhead turtles, the beach closes to visitors in the evening; staying overnight, driving on the sand and any construction are prohibited. That protection is why the beach remains largely untouched.
Entry is usually combined with a ticket to the ancient city. Apart from a limited number of sunbeds and a small kiosk there are no facilities, and shade is scarce.
