Olympos Beach is reached by walking through the ruins of the ancient city. It lies within Beydağları Coastal National Park, so there is no development and the shore remains in its natural state.
Access is via the ancient city ticket. The path down to the sea between the ruins is the most memorable part of a visit, following a shaded streambed.
The treehouse guesthouses nearby have long made Olympos a favourite with backpackers. Shade on the beach is limited and there are no businesses on the sand.
