Lara
The Düden stream plunging some forty metres off the cliffs straight into the Mediterranean.
The Upper Düden Waterfall lies north of the city centre, where the Düden stream drops over a travertine ledge. A natural cave behind the falls lets visitors walk behind the curtain of water and look out through it.
The surrounding grounds are laid out as a recreation area shaded by plane and pine trees, with walking paths, tea gardens and picnic spots.
City buses run there. The floor inside the cave section can be wet and slippery, so non-slip shoes are advisable.
