Phaselis is a harbour city set in pine forest with three natural harbours. A colonnaded street crosses the site from end to end, linking two of the harbours and making the ruins easy to walk.
Hadrian's Gate, the theatre, baths and aqueducts can be seen. Swimming is permitted at the harbour beaches, which makes Phaselis more than an excavation site.
It lies close to Kemer and is easy to reach by car. Plenty of shade makes it comfortable to visit even in summer.
