Lara
The Düden stream plunging some forty metres off the cliffs straight into the Mediterranean.
Lara Beach is a broad stretch of shoreline east of Antalya, known for its fine sand. Unlike the pebbles of Konyaaltı, the soft sand makes it a favourite with families travelling with children.
The shore is divided between a municipal beach, free public sections and hotel beaches. The water deepens gradually, and sunbeds, showers and snack kiosks are available.
It is about half an hour by bus from the city centre. The sand is very fine and heats up around midday, so sandals are worth bringing.
