Konyaaltı
One of Türkiye's most comprehensive archaeology museums, centred on Roman sculpture from Perge.
Konyaaltı Beach stretches for about seven kilometres along the western edge of central Antalya. The Beydağları mountains rising directly behind the shoreline give it one of the most recognisable views in the city.
A promenade with walking and cycling paths, playgrounds, showers and changing cabins runs the length of the beach. Part of it is municipally run: sunbeds and umbrellas are rented for a fee, while access to the water is free.
The beach is easy to reach by city bus and tram. Water shoes are recommended because of the pebbles, and the afternoon breeze can pick up.
